About Me:

Dr. Khaldoon Al-Moosawi is a medical doctor and a humanitarian activist, graduated from
College of Medicine - Nahrain University in 2000 and practiced medicine for 3 years until the
war in Iraq happened in 2003. After the war he wanted to help more people in Iraq so he joined
the humanitarian effort and in 2004 he founded a humanitarian nonprofit called "Mercy Hands
for Humanitarian Aid".  In 2007 he moved to United States to study for a Masters degree in
Public Health, which he received in 2010 from University of Oklahoma. In 2014 he became
board certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing emergency medicine since then. He lives and works in Georgia, married and has two beautiful daughters.
